Keerimalai Hot Springs is one of the most unique natural attractions in Jaffna. These sacred freshwater springs sit right at the edge of the Indian Ocean on the northern coast of the peninsula. Hindu tradition attributes healing powers to these mineral-rich waters. The springs feature separate bathing pools for men and women, fed by underground thermal sources. The nearby Naguleswaram Temple — one of the five ancient Shiva temples of Sri Lanka — adds spiritual depth to the visit.

Dambakola Patuna (also known as Jambukola Patuna) is the ancient port where Sanghamitta Theri arrived from India in the 3rd century BC, bringing the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi sapling to Sri Lanka.
